Our Sister Organizations
The Alliance for a Hunger-Free New York, the New York State Food as Medicine Coalition, and The Food Pantries for the Capital District are sister organizations working together in the fight against hunger across New York State. While each organization has its own specific roles, they are united in their commitment to tackle food and nutrition insecurity, improve community health, and advocate for systemic change to create a more equitable food system.
New York State Food as Medicine Coalition
We are a statewide coalition of food as medicine stakeholders promoting communication and collaboration, serving as a resource and partner to decision-makers on food as medicine topics, best practices, and policy initiatives to integrate food as medicine into New York State policy and practice.
The Food Pantries for the Capital District

Our mission is to address hunger in the Capital District through our member food pantries. Our vision is a hunger free Capital Region.
