Sarah Roberts is a grant writer for The Food Pantries for the Capital District,
leveraging her background in journalism and government relations to support community initiatives.
Sarah studied journalism at Boston University and contributed to publications like the Boston Globe and Schenectady Gazette early in her career. Inspired to make a broader impact, she transitioned into public service, serving as the regional representative for former Congressman Antonio Delgado in New York's 19th Congressional District. She later became the Capital Region Director for U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, focusing on constituent relations and policy advocacy.
Now at The Food Pantries for the Capital District, Sarah applies her communication skills and government experience to secure critical funding for community support programs.
