Meghan Young

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County

Meghan Young is a SNAP-ED Nutritionist with the SNAP-Ed NY Hudson Valley team based out of Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County(CCE Orange). Her work is focused primarily on policy, systems and environmental change efforts and leads the SNAP-ED NY pilot project Rescued EATS. Prior to joining the SNAP-Ed Hudson Valley team she was a Nutrition Educator with CCE Orange overseeing the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program and the Master Food Preservation Program. Meghan earned her BS in Movement and Sports Studies from Springfield College, Springfield, MA and her M.A. in Health Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, NY, NY. In her free time she is an avid lover of the outdoors enjoying trail running, hiking, skiing and snowboarding and fishing.
