Beth Feingold

UAlbany School of Public Health

Beth Feingold is an Associate Professor of Environmental Health at the University at Albany School of Public Health - State University of New York, where she also directs the undergraduate program in Public Health. She conducts research on the dynamic relationship among the food system, the environment and population health here in New York and in the Peruvian Amazon. Dr. Feingold earned her Ph.D. in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, her Master of Environmental Science from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, her Master of Public Health from Yale School of Public Health and her Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Vassar College. She was the Glenadore and Howard L Pim Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Johns Hopkins University and a Postdoctoral Associate at Duke University’s Global Health Institute and Nicholas School of the Environment. She is currently a member of the inaugural cohort of Fulbright Amazonia.
